OK - I've got it going now.
Maybe I need to ask a basic question - it looks like the tooltip
output does not change unless you have it hooked up to something that
actually does something. (Who'd a thunkit?!)
So, if I connect the output of the MIDI note input (either Kineme's
or Apple's) to a math patch => nothing
If I connect the output of the math patch to the X-pos on a sprite =>
voila! there's the data.
<sigh>
Thanks for the help.

Sorry i might have been a bit vague, have you selected your midi

tried moving the observed octaves down 2 octaves?
The original kineme plugin can be found here

A Midi note numbers table can be found here

Hmmm - I didn't see any MIDI patches on Kineme's site - gotta
pointer?
They probably have just what I was looking for ...
PS - I tried all octaves on my MIDI controller ...

set the note controller two octaves down(or is it up?)
Or you could also use kineme.net midi patches which use note
numbers instead

I can't seem to get anything out of the MIDI notes Controller.
QC 2.1.1
OSX 10.4.10
I am able to get MIDI controllers from the same device, so I know
that I have the MIDI source and channels set up correctly.
Anyone know how to get this going - or have a patch that uses this?
Thanks
Jack
