I´ve had problems with my video input automatically being NTSC, and
finding nowhere to change it to PAL. The options in the "video input"
node gives PAL/NTSC 8 or 10 bit, and I´ve found no place to set things
to PAL. I guess it´s supposed to be automatic. This is on composite
input. My solution was to open my Catalyst application and choose
there (as there is a PAL and NTSC button), then it would be PAL in QC
(until next restart). Decklink HD Extreme card, btw.
I don´t remember having had these issues in Tiger... Have I overlooked
a button?
