I am sure this has been addressed at some point. Have relative paths changed in 3.0? I have been using "~/Documents/myFolder/" as a way to point to a document. However in version 3.0, that seems to have changed. Is there a work around or another method I should be using other than the tilde? When I set the paths explicitly, they work fine, but I would like to have this be portable without the need to change the path for each machine my app is loaded onto.

Relative paths still work, although the way it works internally has changed (that only applies to plugin writers, and only the ones who explored the Tiger api though).

Which plugin are you using such paths with? If it's not working correctly, it's most likely a bug. Also, are you using it in the QC environment, or in an application? I don't know of anyone who's successfully had composition-relative paths work in an application yet (without managing path building themselves to some degree) -- I'm sure there's a way though, I just don't know it.

If all else fails, can you post a sample composition that exhibits this path problem?
