Is there anyway to incorporate a Safari widget web clip into a Quartz Composer composition? I am looking into taking a portion of a website and incorporate it into a Quartz composition. I am thinking that a Safari web clipping would be the easy way to go about this but I am open to other ideas.
There's no way currently to embed Safari Web Clips into QC. However, I think Jake Teton-Landis (he's on this list I think?) made a plugin that renders a webpage and outputs an image. I've not worked with it extensively, but I can ask him if it's ok to distribute, and let you have it from there.
