Hello,
I'm quite new to quartz composer and I'm trying to adapt to it's mode of
fucntioning.
I have 3 (newbie) questions:
1 - I'm receiving a osc messages from another software. one of the
messages is a trigger (/tr). I want QC to restart a video (using the
start input of a stop watch connected to a movie loader) upon receiveing
the message "/tr". As far as i understand there can only be one osc
receiver object per port in QC so i need to do all my message handling
from just one osc receiver. I have many other osc messages being
received therefore i can't use the "message received" output for
trigerring procedures. So what i need to do is, each time a i receive a
"/tr" message i want to trigger the stop watch. The problem is that the
message is always the same, just "/tr", and i have no idea how to make a
trigger from this message ( i think it's also called pulse in QC).
2 - I would like to wrap a moving video (which is smaller than the
window) so that when it goes out of the window on the right side it just
reapears on the left side ( a quotient space in R^2 for the
mathematically inclined). Is there an easy way to do this ?
3 - I want to display my compositions in multiple windows. My
composition window size is 3200x600 and i want to span it across 4
800x600 screens. I know i will need quartz composer visualizer to do it,
but i tried a bit, testing it with just to monitors and couldn't get it
to work. The compostion would very zoomed in, and then it wouldn't even
display anything when i pressed start.
Any ideas ?
