Hello

I am currently trying to pin down a number of rendering problems which only occur when rendering in 16 or 32 bit color on some graphics cards. Currently these problems occur when testing compositions as plugins inside Final Cut Pro using the Noise Industries system.

I would like to try and reproduce them in simplified test cases so I can log them on radar but I need to be able to render to a 16 or 32 bit per channel context and write out the composition output as 16 bit IF or 32 bit EXR for test purposes.

does anyone know of any existing sample code which does this? is there any other suggestions for how I can try and reproduce these problems without bringing FCP and FxFactory into it.
