Does anyone have any idea how to generate HD video (720p or 1080p) from a quartz composition? When exporting as a QT movie, there are options for size, but the quality is very low.We'd like to pass two HD video sources through QC with some not-so fancy transformations and have the resultant QT movie be high- quality. It seems that QC is pixelating the compression and slowing down the frame rate of the source.Any ideas?
Are you exporting from the QC Application? If so, that's 100% of your problems: QC doesn't actually export/encode video, it generates a .mov with the QTZ embedded inside. You should use QuickTime Pro to transcode a qtz to a real mov (with better framerates, resolutions, and broken color space conversions....). Try that, and see if it fixes this for you.
