it works, with footnotes. in qc i often have to delete the video input patch from the comp, restart qc, and put it back. and in terms of hardware it doesn't play nice with my external fw800 drive... the one i use for live audiovisual stuff, great.

the big gotcha is that you can't use two of them in qc, which is a failing of qc not the hardware: apps like vdmx handle them correctly.

but for the laptop user, i haven't seen anything else out there: an uncompressed digital stream is not to be argued with.

if you have a mac pro tower, the intensity card is a no-brainer (do the drivers allow dual stream input outside the blackmagic app yet?)
