Wow! What a great product 'processing' is. I rarely visit other web
sites. I haven't even had
time to see the web-centric stuff at adobe-air, nor many of the
google-apps. I did like the
'exhibition' feature. Maybe someday Apple will have something like
this. I don't know, maybe call it a 'gallery?' Perhaps commercial
work could be posted here? That certainly would be more appropriate
than allowing advertising to be done on mailing lists, which is in
direct violation of the written guidelines that I certainly expect
Apple to live up to.
I think this would be a win-win situation.
A knowledgeable, frequent contributor was nice enough to compile a
list of 'commercial' firms/apps in response to a query by Mr. A.
Sabatelli a few weeks ago. Why not place this list on a web site
associated with this mailing list instead of leaving it in the
unstructured 'archive' of e-mails? Not only would this be more
accessible, but it wouldn't violate the mailing list guidelines.
Gee, come to think of it--how about a central repository (cloud
storage?) for communicating qtz files that are otherwise too large to
be attached?
Or, instead of a lot of talk, why doesn't Apple just award a MacBook
Air to the best 30 second native qtz app posted before labor day?
Kind of a kick-off event.
Sorry to appeal to a lot of disinterested/uninterested folks--it's
only me.
