Dear fellow Quartz Composer Developers,
I'm proud to announce that the next Blinkenlights installation, will
in part be driven by Quartz Compositions and special tailored
QCPlugins. The project Blinkenlights transformes big buildings into
displays by making every window into a big pixel. To find out more
about the project go to:
http://blinkenlights.net/blog/archive/200809/introducing-stereoscope
The current state of the plugins as well as a Stereoscope simulator
can be temporarily found here:
http://www.dasgenie.com/blinkenposer/
It is kind of an unusual use of Quartz Composer as the target virtual
display has only 96x32 pixels and the actuall installation only shows
a masked 17x22 and 23x30 excerpt, but in our opinion Quartz Composer
has an ideal grade of flexibility for that.
If you want the chance to have your work be part of that great art
project please submit your work to or http://blinkenlights.net/
contact me, Dominik Wagner - dom at codingmonkeys dot de, directly per
mail or AIM. We are looking forward to great content on this biggest
Blinkenlights installation yet. Submissions are either in the bml
format that the Stereoscope.app records or as .qtz file or both.
Thanks for listening,
Best,
Dominik Wagner
