Is it possible to use a Quartz Composer composition as the view of an
NSStatusItem? I can't find any docs or examples of this being done.
When I try to set mine as the view of an NSStatusItem, I get this error:
"Unable to retrieve screen colorspace from owner window"
Googling yields only a few references, only one of which give a clue
in code comments:
"QCViews don't like being in a 0-height window; they'll complain"
I'm not using a Window of course, so that might be my answer. If this
is not possible, is there another way to have animation in an
NSStatusItem? All I want is some text to scroll from right to left,
wrap around and start again.
