I'm interested in creating a simple "open sequence" for say a movie. However I wanted to start with something existing and modify it accordingly. That said I've been looking at the Image TV composition that comes as an example. I'd like to try to use this and have the tv's form a mosaic that when zoomed out to the last frame displays a customizable word or logo. since the tv's are already customizable images I wouldn't imagine this to be *too* difficult, but like I said, I'm a noob.
You'll want to look at the Movie Loader patch for video input. However, using it inside an iterator will make your composition run really slowly, and having a bunch of them outside of the iterators will still be rather slow (not to mention needing a bunch of noodles).
You'll also want to look at the Image Pixel patch to get the customizable image color data at each location (so you can match stuff).
Conceptually simple, but pulling this off will require a significant amount of effort :) you've got your work cut out for you.
