i just did a spotlight search on .qtz and it pulled up 600 files. files that where even encapsulated inside zips pulled. the shocking thing was every .qtz file that has been posted to this list in the last few seasons showed up as well. i might try grep next time but to me the qc4 search is way better if you know what you are looking for. if you are using the hierarchal drop down menu thing and you have external plugs its kind of weirdly grouped. my vote is for group searches as well. if you type "Utility" you get nothing.

Ok, it seams it does search contains but does "whole search" based, meaning if you have a space in your search string it searches for "some thing" not "some" and "thing" to be more clear.

Hey, in QC 4 editor can the search in the Library field be based on 'contains' rather than "starts with"?

It makes searching for things 100000000000000x easier, and I cant seem to change it, unless I am missing something.

Also, have folks noticed the purple provider patches showing up as black? The new color scheme seems to change on me every now and then, and only consumers remain consistently blue. Anyone else?

Thanks a lot, QC4 is really nice, and will be really great once some of these small issues get worked out.
