I've used the QT export a fair bit before, but my usage probably isn't
exactly common.
The main use I've found for it is sending out a QC composition with sound
and additional controls - you can add an mp3 as a separate track to the .mov
container, and set the .mov to play is a more friendly way (start
fullscreen, ffwd/rewind controls, and quit when it finishes). It's a good
way to send out a nice 'presentation' (or a demo :) using QC.

It was buggy on 10.5 though, so I stopped using it quite a while back.
