Hi Christopher,
Argh, of course -- the other Apple developer site: connect.apple.com,
not developer.apple.com. Xcode 3.1.3 found and downloading now,
thanks. You and Chris Wood kick ass. QC Chris's for the win!

Are old versions of the Developer Tools not available for

developer site nor does it seem that Software Update or Xcode will
update them automatically.
I'm pretty sure it's still there -- possibly with an ADC
membership? I know I'm in the middle of downloading 3.1.4 for
Leopard (it's huge, and I keep relocating today, bleh). I found it
yesterday or the day before, so it's been up post-leopard for sure.
If you need a link or something, perhaps it's safe to post on-list?
If they are in fact no longer available for download, would it be
safe to copy the entire Developer folder from another machine that
has the latest (Leopard) versions or does Quartz Composer have
dependencies outside of the Developer folder?
There are numerous "maybe" dependencies -- stuff in /System/Library/
Frameworks, for example (QC framework, though 10.5.8 might have the
latest already?), stuff in /usr/bin (gcc's stored there, but also
in /Developer so maybe that's ok?). I would be worried about trying
it, to be honest.
