Hello.
Im happy to announce a very alpha (but potentially usable) release of
my Open Frameworks / Quartz Composer bridge. This basically allows you
to leverage all of the tools and addons in Open Frameworks to make
Quartz Composer plugins. Open Frameworks has some really amazingly
cool add-ons allowing for interesting physics, fluid dynamics, easy to
use Open GL primitives (and not so primitives), text, model loading,
and computer vision add ons (to name a few). In theory, you can now
use these inside Quartz Composer. Additonally can pass images in to
Open Frameworks and out, allowing you to easily build image processing
or image synthesis tools using Open Frameworks and wrapping it up
easily to a Quartz Composer plugin.
Anyway, I think it could be fun. Its open source, and includes some
simple example plugins for now. Theres still lots to do, so if you are
interested in helping out, let me know.
