Hi all,
I'm quite new to the community, so I'm not sure if there are protocols
that I need to be following, but so far this list has seemed to be
very helpful so I thought I would pose my question to the group.
I'm trying to create an RSS feed for a digital sign-board that scrolls
across the screen. So far I have the feed on an interpolation loop
adjusting the X position from left to right for each headline
individually, clearing the last headline before starting the next.
This may not be the best way to do it, but it seems to work. My main
problem however is that the scrolling is based on the text's centre-
point so as the text fields get larger or smaller it messes up it's
position during the scroll. What I'm trying to do is find a way to
have the X/Y position based off of the leading edge, not the center.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this, or are there any
suggestions on how I might look at this differently. I know it's
probably a very beginner question, but you've got to start somewhere
right?
Thanks,
Cobi
