Hi Sabine,
We use Quartz Composer to make large scale interactive software for
museums, instead of more traditionally favoured IDEs such as Director
or Flash. The interactivity and content-lead nature of such work is
quite specific to the medium - it isn't about a performance (there is
no performer) nor is it art (it is creative however), and there are
very specific client-driven design criteria in place. We favour an
Agile-like development methodology and think QC beats - hands down -
old-school Macromediaesque solutions.
Some info about our work using QC is online at http://www.clayinteractive.co.uk/
- check out the British Music Experience, Natural History Museum and
the Horus Capital projects in particular.
All the best,
Adrian Ward

Hi all.
I am going to be teaching Quartz Composer in my Interactive Media
class.
Could you send me links info about artists who use QC?
What are other common applications for this software other than VJ
and live cinema performance?
