I recently upgraded my black MacBook to Snow Leopard and installed Quartz Composer 4.0 But when I try to open Quartz composer the application starts to load but quits out and the finder comes up with a dialogue that the application has unexpectedly quit. I am aware that the openCl functions are not supported on my computer because of its lack of graphics hardware but I have a hard time believing that just because I don't have a graphics card I cannot run the new quartz composer at all. Does anybody have any ideas why I am unable to run the new version of Quartz Composer and how I can fix it?
Find the crash log in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/Quartz Composer.blah blah.crash - without that, it'll be difficult to figure out what's going on.
Also, try removing all 3rd party plugins, and see if that helps. Also also, try nuking the QC plist, and see if that helps. -- [ christopher wright ] [email protected] http://kineme.net/ _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
