Is your screen possibly set to an aspect-ratio that produces non- square pixels (ie a different ratio to the physical aspect ratio of the display)?

Just a thought.

same here - the circle looked round without any modifications to the comp - so I wasn't sure if I was seeing the same thing or precisely what the issue was

Hello Alastair,

I tested your composition on 10.5.8 as well as on 10.6.4 and get the following result:

I guess this is what it should look like, right? How does your screen look like?

Can't believe I'm asking this as I've been using QC for a couple of years and haven't had a problem this simple since I started.

I just can't get a sample image to display proportionally in the Billboard or Sprite patch. I've tried all the Auto/Real/Custom width/height settings. Can't think of anything else. (Comp uses the NI Circle patches).

I know this has got to be a stupid question but what do I do to get this circle not stretched?

Thanks in advance
