I think the name of the property as well as the key should be "inputTestPort".
The reason for this is because, while QC can "automagically" determine the properties of your patch, it cannot automatically determine if you intend for it to be an input or an output -- prefixing it with "input" or "output" fills in that detail for it.
When you call addInputPort or addOutputPort, you're explicitly telling QC which direction the port goes.
