There was some discourse about the boolean thing on-list where cwright
assured that the representation of the boolean didn't make a difference, at
least in far as it's ultimate effect. It never has for me.

Can you somehow use a string multiplexer to coerce a string output from your
numeric value? For example, placing "False" in input 0, and "True" in input
1, and using your current 0/1 to trigger?
