Shazam! The Quartz Composer community at it's best, I'm happy to see.

I was going to suggest checking out something like Quartzcomposer.com to see
if there was a 'switch patch' up and it reminded me of a related problem,
particularly a problem when you want to share a patch.

Disclaimer: I'm not a coder.

Let's consider two image processing patches I've just imagined; Opacitee and
Xoffset-o-meter.

Opacitee controls the, surprise, opacity of the image being passed through
it. 0 = transparent. 1 = opaque. Norm = 0
Xoffset controls the X offset of an image, in Quartz Composer Units, -x to
+x. Norm = 0

But how does the patch user know?

Is there a common way to describe inputs to help? Input Splitter etc can
have it's range defined, but it has no impact I can see in patching
environs.
I'd love if Quartz Composer had some structure to help, or if there was a
common way to name inputs to show this.

Keith.
