I just make a folder called QC 32 bit in the Developer/Applications folder, duplicate the app, and place it in there, with the app set to 32-bit mode. I color code it differently so it looks different if I search in Finder as well (well, actually, I color code the 64-bit one).
I place the 64 bit QC towards the top of my Dock, and 32 bit down towards the bottom. That's one way of handling it that didn't resort to crazy hacks or anything. -gt On Mon, Apr 25, 2011 at 1:45 AM, James Sheridan <[email protected]>wrote: > > Hi All, > > Does anyone know of a way to start QC in 32/64 bit mode without going into > the info panel for the app bundle and clicking the checkbox? preferably a > command line switch or the like > > I'm thinking of creating a wrapper app for QC that asks each time I start > it what architecture it should use > > Cheers James > > > _______________________________________________ > Do not post admin requests to the list.
