Various options exist, so long as you aren't utlising an audio file and 3rd party plugins or using a movie as a backdrop or texture within your composition
1] This option requires a QuickTimePro licence - See http://www.udart.dk/2009/02/25/rendering-quartz-composer-compositions/ for a very useful description of how to use QuickTime Pro to export an embedded QC track - it isn't actually a reference movie, by the way, not even to begin with. Essentially it boils down to setting the scaling dimensions of the QC track within the Movie Properties Inspector panel, then choosing the codec you want to use, either an intermediate [Apple Pro Res for example] for editing or delivery codec [H.264] for streaming and saving under a slight variant name. 2] If you are using a 3rd Party plugin that does not utilise movies or audio then you could download and install Kineme Core from kineme.net, which will get around the gnarly for unsafe patches. http://kineme.net/node/10878 with instructions for how to get around the unsafe patches to be found there. Then follow option 1. 3] You can offline render your composition into a Quick Time Movie using Quartz Crystal from Kineme.net. Requires a licence 4] You can download qtzrendang from http://code.google.com/p/qtzrendang/. Open Source Licence. 5] You can download Elis Colors from http://sourceforge.jp/projects/eliscolors/downloads/43870/eliscolors.dmg/ Open Source Licence Peter Boocock e : [email protected] w : cybero.co.uk w : vimeo.com/cybero w : cybero.co.uk/Just_A_QC_Blog On 2 Mar 2012, at 20:00, [email protected] wrote: > Export as QuickTime Move...
