The Quartz Composer webplugin was based upon the WebKit Plugin API. >From Safari 5.1 onwards that API has been ditched in preference of the NPAPI >type of Plugin
Thus, no built-in framework support for that kind of plugin. Doesn't mean that a NPAPI type QC plugin couldn't be developed though.
