Hi Alastair, That old tutorial of mine over at Kineme ( http://kineme.net/wiki/StreamingQuartzComposer ) is a bit outdated by now. The links need to be updated and Syphon needs to be referenced, but basically it simply advises to use a virtual cam to access imagery from other applications. I'm in agreement with Achim; CamTwist will probably get the job done for you and the developer is prompt in responding to inquiries.
