This is a pretty horrible workaround, and I'm not sure if it will work, but you 
might try loading the OpenCL based portion of the composition via the 
Composition Importer patch, and see if that works around the crashing in 64 bit 
mode/10.7. It's possible that it might circumvent whatever problem is happening.

If you're running the qtz in your own app, maybe you could separate the openCL 
stuff into it's own composition and make separate QCRenders for each 
composition. 

If it works in 32 bit consistently for you, that might be viable as well.
