Hi Jerry

I found a way to solve a similar Javascript issue a while back. Maybe the 
following steps will help you as well.

1. Open the QC preferences
2. Alt-click the general tab icon to open the 'hidden' preferences.
3. Select the system tab.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the list and check the box that says 'QC is 
crashing for me when I quit this patch, but I got over it, and am moving on.'

No offense intended, btw. I'm just sure your energy is better spent exploring 
other patches and making awesome new things.
