Hi list, Currently no movie will play for me in Quartz Composer. Testing in simplest comp, connecting directly to a Billboard. Test movie is 1024x768 Apple ProRes 422. Movie generated from FCPX, plays fine in Quicktime Player and VDMX.
This includes: 1. Movie Importer (bug report filed) which generates the (known) error in Debug mode: 21:22:28.699 ["comp1" @ "Macro Patch"] > Movie initialization at URL "file://localhost/Users/jersmi/Desktop/comp1.mov" failed: (null) 2. Kineme Movie Player which outputs nothing, nada (though produces no errors). So it COMPLETELY sucks that I can play no video files in QC at present. I recently updated to last version of Graphics Tools, but it looked like QC was not updated? I'll look at older versions if I must…. Help?
