Hi,

Spinning rings: I would start with a "3D Transformation", inside a "Replicate 
in Space", and there a "Cube". Use the Replicate in Space to generate the open 
ring. With the wrapping 3D Transformation patch you can move this "object" 
around.

Flying tiles: This one is harder: I would put an "Iterator" inside an second 
"Iterator" to have a grid and use the "Iteration Variables" to place some 
sprites on the canvas. maybe a Timeline-patch may help to do the animation. or 
you use some calculations depending on the grid index values x and y.

Hopefully this gives you some ideas where to start.
