We have two macbook pros and have developed a complex QC presentation. It works great on the newer MBP with the Radeon 6750, and routinely exhibits bad behavior on the NVIDIA GT330M: sometimes just locks up the QC app, and often when closing the viewer window the system freezes for 60+ seconds. Both machines running latest QC and 10.8.4 and are otherwise clean installs.
This has the feel to me of a video driver bug - we tried the CUDA 5.0.45 driver available here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/macosx-cuda-5.0.45-driver.html but it didn't fix anything. Anyone had experience with this? Would an older version of Mac OS X perhaps be worth testing on the GT330M? I could also test the latest 10.8.x and 10.9 betas (but we shan't discuss that in public). _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
