Thanks Achim. I have now got the Directory Scanner patch working in iTunes,
and I am able to build a string for the path to the album folder for single
artist albums using the Track Info patch included in the Music Visualization
template, using the ‘Artist’ and ‘Album’ fields. The issue is that whereas
with iVisualize (the plugin I was using before to build slideshows but which no
longer works in Mavericks) I could refer to the ‘Composer’ field of a track in
iTunes, this field isn’t included with the Track Info patch. Alastair has
responded to another post I made on the QC list, and is recommending building a
CSV or text file of my iTunes library and then matching the currently playing
track to that in order to pull in the Composer field, so I will hopefully be
able to have a go at that. If you have any other thoughts/suggestions though,
I’d be glad to here of these too!

All the best,

Nick
