VM Manager sends out regular notifications that Dom0 updates are available - this is what you'd expect. However, in approximately 50% of these cases, there are no available updates. This is what happens after a notification is received: In VM Manager ---> click download ---> Dom0 qubes manager opens dialogue box saying checking for updates ----> Sys-Firewall box opens saying downloading ---> dialogue boxes close and VM Manager update flag disappears.
