I believe he means whether it's an official place or an unofficial one. I had same confusement when I first started out with Qubes. If a user isn't a proponel Reddit user, it might be tricky to realize that Reddit is mainly self-organized communities. So it then might become a question for some people if Qubes Reddit belongs to The Qubes OS Project or not.
