Turns out that whatever application tries to load multiple drivers and use both of them at the same time.
First, check that there are two drivers being loaded. user@sys-net$ lsmod | grep rtl Yes? Blacklist one. adding "blacklist rtl8xxxu" to the file /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf will solve the problem.
