Are you sure you put "sudo" in front? I get that error when it's not there.
Otherwise, have you updated dom0 lately with "sudo qubes-dom0-update"?
Yea I used ''sudo'' in front and I double checked if there was any dom+ updates
but there is none. :/
You are on Qubes 4.0, right? You could update the
/etc/qubes-rpc/policy/qubes.UpdatesProxy file and "qubes-prefs updatevm"
manually, I think that's all that Salt command does. Look under the
"Update Settings in Qubes R4" section on the page you linked, and set
the "target=" lines to your new sys-whonix. Don't forget the one towards
the end for your TemplateVMs.
