Hello chris I switched from a dell xps 15 to a hp spectre x360 not long ago and I must say i prefer the Hp spectre. I know it's not an answer to your question and im sory for that but i thought i should mention it because it's about the same price and has the same / better specs. Ive got the model with an i7 8th gen 16gb ram and 500gb ssd. The only "problem" ive encounterd is the laptop fan spinning up when ideling but thats because the laptop is very thin and light. If i were you i would look into this laptop. Cheers!
