I use wireguard on Debian minimal and it works fine. You have to enable 
Debian's testing repo to install it. Kernel 5.4 supports WG natively, but 
the default 4.x kernels for R4.0 do not, so you should install 
`kernel-latest-qubes-vm` via `qubes-dom0-update` and be sure to select it 
as your WG VM's kernel.
