The modem presents its time servers in its state-monitoring web page as: 132.163.4.103 time-b.timefreq.bldrdoc.gov 129.6.15.29 time-b.nist.gov and it gives no port information. I don't see how one would tap the DSL line itself to recover more detail. The modem talks PPPoE over the wire to the telco, but the low-level wire protocol isn't Ethernet. The ADSL signals are probably carried by something like "discrete multitone" (DMT), so ordinary network equipment won't play with it. _______________________________________________ questions mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ntp.isc.org/mailman/listinfo/questions
