Quite suddenly last night, one of my Internet facing PCs went wild: http://www.david-taylor.myby.co.uk/mrtg/hermes_ntp.html
whereas the other, using different servers did not: http://www.david-taylor.myby.co.uk/mrtg/bacchus_ntp.html (You may just catch the leap-second transient on the left edge of these graphs). It seems that immediately after on of its regular server changes, it decided to do a timestep, followed by more server changes and timesteps.
