Hi, A question in this context:
Is there a good way to tell ntpd to connect to upstream time servers "now". context: machine on remote site sitting behind an ISDN dial on demand line to the main network. Timeserver there is well managed. The connection is active on a regular basis but ntpd connnects regularly happen in inactive times ( dial delay, extra cost, ... ).
