With European authorities recently attempting to drive much greater time-stamp accuracies into IP network infrastructure, it raises the question about whether anyone has been developing supporting technologies that leverage the use 0f NTP data.
For example, if the time-stamp included the most recent NTP query information such as the NTP reference clock URI, last local clock offset and jitter, and current drift rate, much greater precisions could be effected.
