/dev/gps0 -> /dev/pps0 exists. dmesg says: ntpd[11347]: segfault at 0 ip 0000003361a341ca sp 00007fff3b8ca680 error 4 in libc-2.5.so[3361a00000+14a000] Where is the ntp log? What full debug?
