The MoD has informed Ofcom of the following GPS jamming exercise:
Dates: 5-15 July 2010.
Times: limited periods between 12:15 and 15:15 hrs.
Location: Airborne at various heights on a bearing of 2700 starting 10nm
West of Kirkwall - N580 57.4' W0030 13.9'.
Note: Safety of life operations will take precedence over exercise
activities at all times.
