.. and I just tried sending one of the Raspberry Pi cards a 1,000,000
byte file, with the following results:
In: 1126460500
In: 1125320238
Delta: 1140262
Out: 1770263782
Out: 1770185734
Delta: 78048
So it took about 14% more bytes to receive the file, with about 7%
return bytes for acknowledgements or requests. There was a small amount
of other traffic going on at the same time. MRTG showed a delta of just
over 3 KB/s, which is 1 MB / 5 minutes.
Doesn't appear that network interface byte count reporting errors are to
blame....
