The main challenges lie in factors such as changes in the signal-to-noise ratio between satellites and the ground, beam switching, solar outages, blockages, and dynamic inter-satellite topologies. These factors lead to packet loss, delay jitter, and high dynamicity of bandwidth. Affected by these factors, on the one hand, the transmission rate is significantly impacted on the other hand, the bandwidth of satellite networks cannot be fully utilized. Based on the above understanding, we will organize a side meeting on Monday, July 21, 9:45-11:00 AM , hoping to reach some consensus on the problems and related requirements.
