plight of the threatened farmers and families, and a
plea to the City of Los Angeles, its Mayor, and its
people to find alternatives
to eviction, and bulldozing the largest urban garden
in the U.S.
to build a warehouse

The situation is critical for the South Central
Farmers, with over 300 poor families - mostly of
Mexican, Central and South American heritage - facing
eviction from the land that has provided health,
sustenance, and community for many years.
