dibawah saya attached email yg saya dapat dr SPCA HK, sebelumnya saya ingin menjelaskan bahwa petisi ini sedikit berbeda dengan yg mungkin sering kamu" terima, yang umumnya lebih bersifat individual, karena yang ini berhubungan dengan Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare at the United Nations. biar kalau terkumpul 10 juta tanda tangan, kita bisa membuktikan pada PBB bahwa kita pecinta hewan serius ingin mensahkan deklarasi mengenai kesejahteraan hewan/binatang di dunia. tak terkecuali di indonesia tentunya yg juga anggota PBBkarena saya berada di HK, jadi SPCA HK selalu mengirim segala berita dalam dua bahasa, chinese dan inggris. untuk versi bahasa inggris silahkan scroll ke bawah.

Please help us achieve global recognition that animals matter, that they can feel pain and can suffer and that we have a responsibility to put an end to cruelty around the world. We seek 10 million signatures to let the governments of the world know we are serious about achieving a Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare at the United Nations.
SPCA has reservations about point (2. of the principles of the declaration. We would ask you to put aside the differences and understand the importance of such declaration as the first step towards international recognition of animals are sentient beings and therefore deserve due consideration and respect.
