Nobody here can elect, appoint, or just jump on and become a moderator unless they are given the power by the group owner. The group owner has been missing for literally YEARS now and thus far has not responded to any of us that have offered to take over this group since the have obviously lost interest. We did end up starting a new group called quick_vegetarian2 and it is moderated and spam-free. We could use all the good quick veg recipes and advice people want to share. Unfortunately, unless the original owner of this group
pops back online to appoint a new owner/moderator, then this list will continue to be plagued with spam...
